Growing up in the green, culturally rich South Island of New Zealand, Waitaha Day Spa creator Lareesa ‘Elle’ Herron has a deep connection with the Waitaha people, their traditions and natural spirit. Elle’s passion for Waitaha, the purity of the lifestyle and the harmony she has crafted between modern techniques and ancient traditions has resulted in a unique day spa experience.

Before moving to Perth in 1998, Lareesa Herron ran a successful beauty clinic in Greymouth, New Zealand and in 1999 opened her own salon in WA to better balance work with family, and look after her two children.

Today, Waitaha continues to grow in size and spirit – offering a full range of spa treatments alongside alternative healing therapies with an authentic difference, in a space where passionate experts care for guests in a safe, inspiring environment.
